As approved by the Hawaiʻi Public Utilities Commission, the Hawaii State Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs and Young Brothers, LLC have agreed to a 1.2 million dollar refund of freight charges for those who may have shipped cargo between September 1, 2020, and December 23, 2024. Eligible shippers will automatically receive a refund via check to the address on your freight bill. If you believe you are entitled to a refund and have NOT received a refund check please contact ybrefund2025@htbyb.com or call (808) 543-9408 for more information. Your potential refund is the result of a settlement between the State of Hawai‘i Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs (DCCA) and Young Brothers, LLC (Young Brothers) that was recently approved by the Hawai‘i Public Utilities Commission in Docket No. 2019-0117. Our records indicate that you may have shipped cargo with Young Brothers, LLC between September 1, 2020, and December 23, 2024.
